My Story

My way out.I’m a married mother to 3 children and 2 step-children, a thinker and a feeler. Just trying to figure this crazy ride out.  Forgive me if it takes awhile.

Holding on.

In some ways this is all about the people I’ve loved and lost, and the pieces of me that lie in the wreckage.  Forgive me if I lie still awhile.

I learned once that life is lived forwards and understood backwards…this is me doing both…

I’ve learned that living in the present requires constant effort. But more than anything, I know that broken hearts can still love. Broken bodies can still walk, and broken spirits can write themselves through a depression. Forgive me if I sometimes forget.

  1. I’m so glad we met on the plan to Las Vegas!!! Your writing has helped me a lot threw my divorce! Thanks a lot for allowing me to read this!

    • I’ve thought of you often and imagined you both loving the Grand Canyon. How lovely to visit a place that can make you feel so small, especially while going through a time in your life when every moment seems so large. Stay still as long as you need. The earth will move you along. You have a beautiful spirit and a beautiful friendship. What else do we really need? 💖💖💖
